Flos Mayday outdoor lamp
Mayday is a term used to ask for help during wars. The term comes from a pronunciation error: the English pilots who flew over France in the First World War, failing to correctly say the expression "venez m’aider" (come to help me), replaced it with a more Anglophone, "Mayday". Mayday is also the name of the outdoor lamp that the designer Kostantin Grcic has designed for Flos in 2000 with the goal of "can be useful whenever you need light". The lamp Flos it is inspired by work, in fact also called emergency, that with a hook can be positioned everywhere.

Flos Snoopy Blue Table Lamp
Synthesis of expressivity, form and function, lamp Snoopy produced by Flos since 1967 it is a nice tribute to the character created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz. Designed by brothers Castiglioni, is composed of a black painted metal reflector, a thick glass plate and a white marble base with an innovative dimmer for the time that regulates the intensity of light. A description so technical and neutral makes us lose its main ingredient: irony.
