Designed by by Piero Lissoni for Alessi - the now known brand whose design objects have always an exciting and surprising connotation, often countercurrent, ironic and iconic -, thebath brush Birillois part of the family of bathroom objects. The main feature of the project? The balance between the minimal form and the materials used: all the collection in fact has a rectangular, minimal and essential shape, very attention to detail, simple but never trivial.

The playful language and related to the world of cartoons typical of projects Stefano Giovannoni in the 1990s, he found one of his most successful expressions in the famous Merdolino. Without hesitation the designer faces an indispensable object but "vited", he fucks it for the w.c., transforming it into a slender jar from which comes a long and sympathetic shrub. Merdolino, bizarre, countercurrent, paradoxical, has become a champion of the ransom of its category, has aroused scandal among the well-thoughts of design and has collected over the years a huge success.
