Broom - in italian "scopa" - is the name of the collection of stools designed by Philippe Starck for Emeco. “Imaginate”, he says Philippe Starck, “that there is a boy taking a humble broom and cleaning the lab and with this dust of nothing creates new magic. That's why we call him Scopa." The stools and chairs Broom are made of recycled plastic which in turn is completely recyclable; each piece is made at 75% with scrap polypropylene and at 15% with recycled wood fiber that would otherwise be discarded in the trash.
